@alexandermegos finds perfection on Perfecto Mundo (9b+/5.15c), Margalef, Spain.
Known for his quick ascents, he uncharacteristically dedicated an entire trip to this one climb last year after @chris_sharma, who equipped the route nearly a decade ago, invited him and @steghiso to give it a go. The hard work paid off, and when Megos finally stuck the crux move —a dyno from a mono pocket to a pinch— and took it to the top for the route’s first ascent, he became the third person in history, after @adam.ondra and @chris_sharma, to establish a climb at this difficulty. “Perfecto Mundo was by far the most time I’ve invested in one project,” says Megos. “From my first day on the route, the inspiration was enough to keep me trying.” What inspires you?
