Sachi started climbing at 13, quickly excelling in competitions and winning the IFSC World Cup in lead climbing in 2012 and 2013. In 2015, he shifted to outdoor climbing, becoming the first Asian climber to send a 9b with Soul Mate in 2018. He also made the second ascent of Tinipi (9a+) at 4000m in Malaysia and the first ascent of The Last One (8c) in 2022, a trad route climbed without bolts.
For Sachi, climbing is about more than just pushing physical limits—it's a journey of self-discovery. Through yoga and meditation, he finds balance and focus to continuously evolve. Today, he’s back to hard sport climbing, always seeking the next challenge while coaching Olympic athletes in sport climbing.
